Wild Sky Proposed Wilderness - New Lands Protected

Land preserved: 313.95 acres; 3 parcel
Activity: 2004-present
Note: The Wild Sky Proposed Wilderness
features high mountain peaks, lakes and salmon and steelhead
habitat. Several years ago, the Trust was asked by the Wild Washington Campaign, an alliance of conservationists, recreation groups and local businesses advocating for the Wild Sky wilderness, to assist with the issue of inholdings in the Wild Sky.
